Scamp & Paw was created around responsibly sourced Norway lobster, a novel, nutritious marine protein, fully traceable from British waters to the bowl. Naturally savoury, easy to digest and rich in valuable nutrients, it brings something genuinely different to everyday feeding.Something different, chosen for very good reason.

We partner with Whitby Seafoods who prepare Norway lobster for the human food chain.Once that process is complete, we take the nutritious remainder and give it a valuable new purpose.

Meet Edward!
Edward spent the first five years of his career living and working in Germany, where an obsession with quality and "built to last" never left him. He returned home to join his family business, Whitby Seafoods, helping grow it from £10 million to over £75 million in turnover across purchasing, production, sales and technical. While working to certify the local Norway lobster fishery, he began to see just how complex (and how fragile) a truly sustainable fishery really is. In 2022, he took a sabbatical to study Sustainable Food Systems at the University of Leeds, where a research project introduced him to Will.

Meet Will!
Will grew up obsessed with the sea (rock pooling, snorkelling, and watching Attenborough on repeat) before studying marine biology at university. He's spent over a decade in pet food, starting out on the shop floor before training as a pet nutritionist and going on to lead Innovation and as Managing Director at some of the UK's best-loved pet brands. Before Scamp & Paw, he was Chief Commercial Officer at Entocycle, farming insects to help tackle global food waste.
